So around two years ago, during the first wave of lockdowns, I had a master plan to make an album of all electronics and synths and loops but with live drums! I wanted to play gigs with just the machines and me drumming along to it all! I tried it and it was ok but much more of a challenge than i had hoped, and I knew it was going to be a pain in the arse!! I sequenced and planned every drum part and meticulously planned it with the idea being that I was going to record all the live drums later, I just never found the time to do it properly sadly, despite a couple of go's with Lee Carter recording! I fired up my old computer and heard all the demos i totally forgot about and whitteled them down from nearly 20 to 7 with all the sequenced drums, i have tried to make them sound as live and authentic as i possibly could. The songs are noisy and horribly produced but they sound pretty mental!! I might get around to doing it proper at some point, you never know...
